You said it, my reactions on SIHH pics were diametrically different....

To that when I had it on my wrist. It actually evoked an emotional response when I put it out. Maybe it was the good sales job by Teresa at Liat Towers, but the number of “firsts” on the watch absolutely clinched it for me. The historical significance of this watch for AP must not go unnoticed. And if one goes back in time, the watch that received one of the biggest controversies was the Offshore when introduced. Too bad we don’t have internet “archives” and a vibrant social media covering the launch then. The Offshore was/is hailed as the saviour of the brand, and I’d say the CODE may not be saving AP (who does when they sell watches at boutiques with deposits and zero discounts), its place in the line is undeniable as I would say the attention AP has received in the past 4 weeks alone demonstrates the game-changing attributes it has brought to the fore.

I just fails to excite me.

Difficult to judge any watch based on pics alone but these just don't do it for me. Amazing how much a dial design impacts the appeal of a watch. [nt]

She did a good job, but they are just not what I’m looking for at this time. Still, I will keep an eye on their evolution, and how the innovations are incorporated at AP.

I can’t get over the sub dials with the JLC font off the deepsea chrono and even the Polaris it’s like they took the same sub dials and plopped them on all the models across the brands.

I appreciate your feedback as a real AP fan.

I have not seen any new models in person yet, and as always, save my full thoughts until then. For now, my opinions remain that I love the case, am intrigued with the movements, and see a lot of promise for this new collection.
