I can think of a good handful of "great" watches (from various brands) that have no appeal to me, but I am able to acknowledge they are terrific pieces. I think the Survivor falls into that category for those who don't care for it. You can still appreciate the creative design and execution.

Great photos! I'm really impressed with your black widow strap and I didn't ever notice the red on the second hand. Your review had definitely changed my view of the Audemars Piguet survivor. Great watch!
