The Hublot just didn’t get enough wrist time. And once I had the AP Royal Oak Black Ceramic, it didn’t stand a chance anymore.
I always try to reduce and make sure I actually wear all my watches. So I used it to offset part of the purchase price for my new IWC Eternal.
But I also threw a few other watches into the mix to make the purchase price, quote-unquote, more bearable.
That’s really my general philosophy. I want to wear my watches, not just collect and hoard them.
And when it becomes too much, it starts to weigh on me, so I let go of the pieces that no longer fit into my daily life. And others get to enjoy them again.
