Yes...
...some have, but in my experience the vast majority do not. Patek used to do this on older models but I don't recall a modern PP with this type of dial type treatment. AP seems to be more consistent than most in this regard.
The only time it seems to be common is when displaying Roman numerals. Even then, many brands 'flip' 'IIII' through 'VIII' to be right-reading.
Maybe I will begin collecting photo examples and dedicate a post to this topic.
