Communication standards from AP have been very high and pleasant. The watchmaker technician made a mistake of some sort with adjusting the month mechanism and we all make mistakes in life so I’ve forgiven. 🙏😀

I love the contrast of the mirror vs. matte polish surfaces, especially the beveling on the case. Great skill from AP.

a QP or PC is one of the grail watch I dream to own when I started this hobby.... Till today, I still don’t know which one I should plunge my hard earn dough down because there are so many distractions along the way with other brands and special releases.... 

I had an IWC QP 4 years ago but the love was brief. And then I went about 2 years without a QP. After that, I got the itch again and I decided on the AP RO because the RO design is a classic and I prefer complicated dials. Definitely, a good problem to ha...

It is a long tradition. Not unique to AP, pretty sure other manufacturers have done it too.

Patek's system I describe as functional. It does the trick and does it well, but at a cost, primarily in form factor and final-link abrasion. We know the Aquanaut (new and old) is improved and Patek's new QP will have an Aquanaut style clasp. A welcome ad...

On #2, I'm deathly afraid that they will scratch the case with a bigger intervention. Have you seem someone do this change properly and the result proved comfortable?
