Awesome "first semester" of releases - I think the star of this release is the new in house QP movement, where all indicators (time, day, month, year, moon, week) can be individually controlled by the crown. A bit different than the IWC - where all indica... 

OW is another of AP's original firsts in the watchmaking world. I'm actually glad they have retired the 5135 - as it is based on a design that is over 30 years old - and I'm hopeful they look at openworking new models with new approaches soon! Peter

And I understand that the perpetual calendar functions are all set through the crown, IWC style. All the best, Jon

So different than IWC is that the AP crown can individually set each indicator independently! While there is an elegance and simplicity with the IWC, it's pretty nifty to be able to change multiple functions independently - simply by changing the position...
