With respect, "You're coming at it all wrong"

Trying to apply our 'collector's PoV' whether emotional or rational is not applicable.
Most sales are made to the consumer mass and they buy a PP because it's a PP and probably dont know any more. At the bubble peak in London, tourists were coming off buses into the watch superstores with simply lists of references of PP to try and buy, and seriously did not know anymore.
It is already in Nautilus waters. Prices of the pre-owned RO today are roughly the same as the preowned 5711 15 months ago.

Nautilus over Royal Oak
By: Bokfu : January 31st, 2019-13:02
No offense on either brand since Patek and AP are both favorite brands of mine. I think 5711 has a slight edge over 15202. I own both and find that 5711 is more accurate with the new and improved movement from the original one. Whereas 15202 is still usin...
Agreed on the time and date setting on the RO

It is an ergonomic nightmare! I got very lucky that a friend managed to score me an AP time setting tool while he was at the AP manufacturing plant and that really makes a huge difference! That device should actually be a standard item in the watch box. R...
