Dear forum members, Is it just me or has AP significantly increased its production numbers of their boutique editions? I have been noticing lately and in several countries the 15202 and 15400 blue dials are becoming more and more commercialized than say 5...

AP makes over 40.000 watches per year.

On AP's own website, it states 32,000 / year. It was previously under 30. The final production is different each year. Just for fun, I reached out directly to AP, who confirmed they remain under 40,000 pieces / year and have no plans to exceed that in the...

Ok, I stand corrected I got the 40k number from an interview with the CEO (2016), but those were sales numbers, not manufacturing. At 4:40 min

the currently posted 32k / year number, but 40 seems to be a number AP does not want to surpass for now. At the end of the day, I feel it is still a reasonable production number. I imagine a myriad of factors go into the annual production and planning.

I asked about the blue face version and was told it was boutique only. A rep from AP happened to be at this retailer that day and confirmed this for me. I do not think that AP is treating its retailers fairly. A big question is "who really owns the boutiq...

Come visit the middle east, blue dials are hot here right now and AD\'s are able to satisfy those demands for the most part.
