Very difficult and very subjective. I prefer the 15202 vs. the 5711, but I also prefer Patek as a brand vs. AP as a brand.

I own two 15202st (blue and silver dial) and didn't have any Issues regarding reliability. The movement of the 15202 is an older design and it's a bit of a pain to set the date, but I prefer the architecture and history of it to the one of the 5711. I also prefer the more angular design of the royal oak to the more rounded design of the 5711. I wouldn't want to own both, a blue dialed 5711 and a blue dialed 15202, because they'd always compete directly regarding wrist time. If I'd want to own both, I'd probably go for a blue dialed and a white/silver dialed version.
I'm not a big fan of the brand AP after their transition to a boutique retail model. At least in my area, the boutique didn't value existing customers from before and the staff in the boutique behaves very self-important (hope this is the right wording). There's also still a lot of unworn boutique exclusives and limited editions showing up in my local grey market, so the boutique strategy doesn't seem to help with that. In today's market, I probably wouldn't buy a new AP anymore and rather stick with my local PP dealer. But I'm not (yet) going to sell my 15202, even though I've been tempted to cash in once or twice.

The market is too into steel watches... loved it when I had it, but glad I let it go. The JLC movement is not the most robust in my opinion... I bought mine from the NYC boutique new and the crown came out, AP Clearwater was a mess handling it under warra...

Yes, I was very disappointed with AP and then the service from Clearwater was beyond terrible when they scratched up my bracelet and bezel. Literally had no scratches on the piece up to that point. Lovely watch, I just have no confidence in that JLC movem...

prefer the bracelet and overall style of the 15202. thought the 5711 would be the end all be all but actually think the 15202 is better.
