your opinion on the 15202st.... for a Patek person

 By: Watches_passion : February 20th, 2021-22:13
hi everyone... i am new to this part of the forum... as i am more of a Patek person with few watches there incl the 5711/5990. i am considering now the 15202st and wanted to get your opinions as AP experts whether you think the watch if worth it and most ...

Awesome, but wait till the market dies down.

The market is too into steel watches... loved it when I had it, but glad I let it go. The JLC movement is not the most robust in my opinion... I bought mine from the NYC boutique new and the crown came out, AP Clearwater was a mess handling it under warra...

I would take off the bracelet before I send it to them, wouldn't risk them damaging the bracelet....

Have my fingers crossed... If I ever got the watch again, I wouldn't set the date and time. Just "wear it in place," as stupid as that sounds...

Good to hear your experience with this watch Ted....

Yes, I was very disappointed with AP and then the service from Clearwater was beyond terrible when they scratched up my bracelet and bezel. Literally had no scratches on the piece up to that point. Lovely watch, I just have no confidence in that JLC movem...

The experience with Clearwater service sounds very stressful ...

prefer the bracelet and overall style of the 15202. thought the 5711 would be the end all be all but actually think the 15202 is better.

Very difficult and very subjective. I prefer the 15202 vs. the 5711, but I also prefer Patek as a brand vs. AP as a brand.

I own two 15202st (blue and silver dial) and didn't have any Issues regarding reliability. The movement of the 15202 is an older design and it's a bit of a pain to set the date, but I prefer the architecture and history of it to the one of the 5711. I als...

Certainly both watches not even worth their retail...

..but 15202 is the way to go! The 5711 is an imposter with undeserving credit.

I cannot compare to a 5711 as I have never owned one, but I have much love for the 15202.

The case size, width, and bracelet make for a feeling on my wrist that is hard to put in words. As to perfect as possible, for me. ...

I have both of your Pateks and also this 15202ST so I will try to give you my thoughts as an owner and end user...

I wore the 5711/1A piano dial and 15202ST so much more than the blue dial 5711/1A that it now belongs to my brother-in-law who really wanted one. For me, the 15202ST has more presence on the wrist than the 5711/1A. Both are amazing on the wrist but the Na...
