... QDL'Ille already address the dress/sport conundrum well.
The case has real promise and could be refined (currently too thick). The face created by the dial and hands; well, it's simply astonishing how it got signed off. So, for the moment, this piece remains one that looks good in the dark. It will be interesting to see how this develops but I
think I can see these on C24 at the same eyewatering discprenancies off MSRP as
the QDL, TBH probably worse.
At least this movement has promise, with a balance wheel inertia I hear nearly as high (12.5 mg/cm2) as Rolex (15) with a 70hr PR. at 4Hz .... but as yet we have no teardowns or data points to work from other than how it looks and the fact that finally AP have made a movement of a modern diameter.
How about them publishing some timing data or providing it with some timing certification. '7 years in the making' or whatever it should be +/-2s/d etc and they could be proud of it. Even my beater Pelagos can do that. However they seem more keen to emphasise how they made the logo - seriously who cares how they made their logo?
Hopefully it can elbow out the outdated and petite 3120. LOL Can
anybody report how the hand setting is? Does it jump when pushing in
the crown?
And finally the 64 Million $ Q that everyone wants to know, when is that chronograph going in the RO?
