Mine arrived over the summer and has hardly left my wrist. It is an exceptional timepiece. Nearly perfect, IMO. Unique, exciting, and very unlike the "typical" AP. I certainly love my octagons, but the Starwheel is a whole different kind of AP.

Yes all makes sense and I agree. I’m heavy on assets, but very light on material/luxury goods, so feel the same as you. Still, it’s a dream watch for me so I’ll continue to hope!☺️ Very much appreciate your insight!

In the end, it is best for the watch to be sold to someone who really wants it. That sounds like you, and I hope it happens sooner than later

the best advice I can give to you is to keep good terms with the local dealers and to become friends with the salesperson. Now these days products which gains value above the retail price after sales is the demands surpasses the supply and some people are... 

All great advice, thanks. Yes I've met and corresponded with the dealer as best I can, although live 2 hours from NYC so only get there on occasion. And yes the "flippers" sort of ruin things for those of us who only want to own the watch to wear and cher...
