Indeed, my APs have been a very sad story. What makes it even sadder, is the information I have got from others who bought in the end of last year or beginning of this year a 15202. I am not alone.
At the same time, I have emphasised all the time that AP is handling this issue in a very good way. For example, just yesterday I got an email from AP proposing a solution. I heard that their factory will be closed till 10th August and after that I will take my watches directly to the factory.
I also bought this year a 5402. AP's Service Centre in Singapore confirmed that most probably the claim of the seller that this watch has never been serviced or polished is true. Anyhow, this about 40 years old RO is still going strong and showing pretty well the correct time. So I have also one positive experience from AP this year. Still I think it's high time to give some oil to my 5402.
