We just might share the same passion indeed! Im completely new in the Audemars Piguet watch family but I am borderline addicted; collecting catalogues now too.
On my first visit to the boutique I was offered two watches, plus one lady and a code, I turned down all but one which is my beloved 26238TI. I shouldve bought them all, however I could afford them all.
Sadly I do not have an AP boutique in my country, so London is the closest(2 hours and 30 minutes).
I must confess that I do not know how to build a relationship, really, but I sent an Christmas email to both the manager and associate, which they responded to.
I could perhaps have some wine/champagne delivered to them at the boutique, but I am not sure if it is a proper thing to do.
Anyways, the salmon dial, the perpetual calender, grande tapisserie, this is the ultimate AP. Perpetual Nautilus models are, in my opinion, no way close to the sheer brilliance and elegance of Audemars Piguet perpetual calender pieces. They are second to none. Perfection.
I can only hope my journey turns out half as good as yours, then I would be a lucky man!
Congratulations again mate! Hope to see hundreds of picture of your piece - you must show us every millimeter of this magnificent time piece!

I believe we definitely share a similar level of passion, in fact I would say you have a lot more than I do! I guess I have been lucky to collect AP for 20 years now, and in the last few years have been extraordinary lucky to build a relationship with a n...

There is something quite special with any AP RO Perpetual, which I believe was the first sport perpetual calendar, released right after the G-Shock Be patient, be passionate, be persistent, and be positive - I'm sure you will get everything you wish!! Che...

HUGE congratulations for this one! I am unfortunately unable to read the displays on these watches without glasses, but I have long admired the classic layout with the subdials. How gorgeous is this watch with the all salmon dial. I wish you nothing but t...

I also long too for better eyesight to appreciate these novel dials. Ironic that when I had good vision, I enjoyed Panerai and oversized numbers - and these days I'm appreciating AP models with petite tapisserie, multiple dials and complications, and some...
Another similarity for us!

I engaged Panerai heavily 20 years ago... when I could read any watch dial from any distance. And my 372 is certainly one I still read just fine! The details on the 41mm titanium perpetual are so cool. I love that you enjoy them so much. Over the years, I...
Many, many years ago!

I in fact have the very first agenda ever signed by Angelo Bonati. I don't remember if he did 100 or 200 for the P crowd, but #001 is here somewhere! Have a greAP week as well ;-)
Ha!!

I think I might have lost mine...I do remember the inscription - "with passion" from AB...the good old days.. Cheers Peter
Indeed. Passion for the brand was incredible..
By: pfang56 : February 22nd, 2022-15:29
But my pockets were much smaller back then. I had one AP and just a few Panerai, but I had to constantly trade up instead of keep. Now super fortunate to enjoy more and appreciate more. Peter
Oh wow
