but I do like that it's not a RO(O). Don't get me wrong; I love that design! Not only for what it all stands for but its just a beautifully made thing (bracelet/case/dial). This Tradition however (now) stands out because not being a RO(O)-model. But as I said I would really want to see one live before making a judgement.

Yes, the date setting would aggravate me.
Not sure why, over the course of 40 or so years, a quick-set date hasn\'t been engineered.

there are a glut of them in HK and it seems like a buyer's market with the vast oversupply on the secondary market
What's powering this piece, I can't remember is it the AP2120?

Being ultra thin seems to lead to that movement in a lot of cases. AP, VC and PP all used it in some way or form (name).
RO is the goose that laid the golden eggs
but AP is losing his identity, they still lack a line for half of the brand's name (Mr. Piguet).

It is a very large watch and the absence of the second hand makes it very refined... and a bit boring too... due to its size. The dial of the 15202 has much more energy... even if this tradition is nice. A very old pic: Fx ...
