I echo MichaelC's comments, sounds like your heart is calling for the RG 15300. Personally I have the RG but with brown strap and white dial, and I find that it can be worn casually as well. If you can afford it, go with the RG and enjoy.

I would pick the RG15300…but being 25 years old, I would be cautious of not wanting to look like i'm wearing my dad's watch…..unless of course you can pull it off!
I find the RG AP RO's work well either casual or formal.
They are fun and cool, best part is most folks have no clue what you have on your wrist. I am a huge RG AP fan so I may be a bit biased. The leather strap is also quite durable. Let us know what you choose. JerryW
