Especially Bulova are in terms of finishing very good. I will look further when an AP RO have spots and oxidation. Some vintage AP’s have patina, thats ok.

It would be very exited for me, as i strap on my first AP. But a longtime ago i was dissapointed when i saw a royal oak. Not fair, a shiny display of Rolex watches was guilty. Every other watch fade away. Very fat, yachtmaster white gold, Millgauss gv.
Oxidation of the hands is not uncommon and doesn’t necessarily mean liquid water incursion - probably "humidity" is enough to cause it

I have not personally encountered these conditions on an AP before.
