Ancienne Le Brassus
1583
interesting observation
Thank you for your comments! Much appreciated,
I hadn't thought specifically about the Brassus and Geneva. I'll look into it more, but I know that the watch mas marketed for the US market. Hence
why they have the 'adjusted' and 'Extra'. And the 'geneva' in English instead of 'Geneve'.
But I'll have to look over my images of vintage AP's... to see what's going on with the dial, thanks for this!
And yes, the dial, quite magical

I think the same person(s) were working for CH Meylan, as I've never seen one as elaborate as this one I have but very similar ones on Meylans of the period...
The ebauche. That's a good question. I have a hunch it is Frederique Piguet, but it not sure, it was an ebauche maker that was making custom ebauches for AP, CH Meylan, Haas, and some others... they all have the general same concept behind them, but each is tailored to individual brands.... if anybody knows, I'd love to find out!
Thanks again for your comments, I'm glad you enjoyed the pix,
