Yes, an apple to orange comparison and hence I mentioned that upfront :-) The reason for the apple to orange is that
my friend and I bumped into each other and he was wearing his AP chrono.
The tapisserie of the AP has more dynamism and “play” in the light as compared to the PP.
But the previous comment about comparing QP to QP is fair, since less tapisserie is clear in an AP QP, so the dial may not dance as much in the light. Otherwise both these pieces have a nice depth to their respective blue.
Reason for not QP to QP is that

It is the Royal Oak for me
It is very much a subjective thing. While I admire the Nautilus for what it is, it does not evoke the same feeling in me as a Royal Oak does. And as other has pointed out, why not compare QP to QP?
