Great summary and write up
I needed this. Gives me a lot more information and history of the Royal Oak. Some here know I've been dreaming and contemplating on one for a while now, and I've decided to take the plunge with the 15450, simply because I like the size and fit, and the silver white dial and how it captures the light. That will arrive this Friday and I will share some pictures when it does.

Colour of dial
Just wondering is this that grey dial of the 15450 they sell now or does a white dial of the 15450 exist to? I'm confused on this one not an ap guy yet

More important than the actual size of your wrist
It is the width of the flat part of your wrist. My belief is that the flat part on the top of your wrist (i.e. the distance from the end of one bone to the end of the other bone) should be 5 cm or more in order to be able to enjoy the Jumbo in full. Less ...
