Saw this incredible piece. I am a huge fan of Ceramic for its scratch resistance and avant garde properties, but is this model even better? I think after trying this out - yes it's pretty spectacular but I definitely am not the right phenotype to pull it ...

And it's extraordinarily heavy. One of those "only wear at a few event" watches, not a daily Unless you work at a jewelry boutique... Peter

Seriously, this is an amazing openworked version, but it seems to demand a certain style and attitude of the person who wears it. Actually, the piece itself may have a transformative effect on the wearer. It really is a powerful work of art IMHO.

Definitely can see this on some artists wrists, but it's pretty extreme even for those with all of the ice and gold. I guess it would go well with some gold chains and a Mr T starter set! Cheers Peter

Still the only piece that is mostly purely scratch resistant... Peter

Diamond is 70+ GPa while ceramic (SiC) is 22 (still, harder than sapphire at 17 or so, if I recall correctly). So yes…although we’re probably gilding the lily, really. I suppose the ultimate would be diamond-encrusted ceramic… Best E.

But maybe would consider jewels on the bezel...it's always been a scratch magnet and maybe I can have a scratch maker Cheers Peter

I would be curious to see one of those in the flesh. Not that I see myself wearing diamonds, but I'm sure that it is a treat to look at it.

Don't know the quality of the diamonds but they were pretty amazing. Also the open working was at another level than the "traditional" 15407... Peter

That would be a nightmare if a stone pops out...I can imagine getting a replacement perfectly fitted can take a long time! Peter

Really enjoying the ergonomics and the weight of the piece. I think it must weigh less than any of my Panerai or my Rolex Sea Dweller, or my Ceramic Beast, but with a wrist presence that's next level! Cheers Peter
