Before the 40th anniversary nobody cared about the 15202

There was the Off-shore, the best seller who kept AP alive through the years.
Then, speculators and resellers began to collect as many as they could and AP reduced the supply.
Then anyone wanted the iconic Royal oak, with ridiculous price increases for 14790 and so on.
This watch was introduced as revolutionary, as a new icon, according to the marketing bla bla bla.
The name is the main joke IMHO, the watch is very well manufactured (but when your name is AP, that's the rule, not the exception ) though I've found nothing this watch to stand out.
Before you wonder, I've tried the time only in BKK.
The curved sapphire is quite rare (but not a firs time), the blue dial is nice as well as the movement, but the biggest flaw is the inner octagonal case, or whatever it has been designed to.
Do you want to get identified as a new watch, or just a far relative of the RO?
It's just another watch.
AP no longer has an Edward Piguet line and I will never stop blaming them for being so blind and disrespectful towards one the founders.
