AP perpetuals are, for me, the most successful sub-category of the ROs (I have taken the original time and date model as the main category). No extra pushers or slides protruding from the case and still relatively slim, especially the RD2! Regards, Baruch... 

The RD2 is a really really cool piece, but I just can't get over the fact that they chose a slate dial over the petite tapisserie which they used for the full platinum prototype.

I do wonder how this compares to VC’s openworked perpetual pieces in platinum.🤔 Perhaps the VC can be considered more elegant, based simply on case shaping. But comparing at a technical/movement level would be harder. Having both is always the best soluti... 

…is that the 25829PT has a bit more classical approach, specifically the engraving on the movement. That’s something the VC does not offer. So VC being a bit more modern but plain. I personally prefer movement engraving so the AP wins. Of course having bo...

I had a ss just like this one about 7 years ago and I regret selling it. But I remember the chapter rings being white on the ss and blue on the PT at the time. Didn’t realize they offered it in PT with the white chapter rings.
