Lange 1815 Annual Calendar vs. Lange 1 Moon Phase PT
I have narrowed down my search to these two watches, the Lange 1 MP and 1815 Annual Calendar. The intent is for it to be my main daily wearer, replacing a JLC MUT perpetual. I know the two styles are so different, but I find both very appealing and with a lot of character.
The 1815 AC combines so many aesthetic details I like - arabics, blue hands, favorite complications (ann/perp calendar & moon phase) and easy time/date adjustment. The main negative is I am not sure of the size (40mm) and the legibility of the date feature. I can probably get use to reading the date. Legibility may be better than the JLC which didn't offer much contrast. In terms of the size, it seems to wear big on my wrist. I like the presence on my wrist (6.75"), but wonder about the comfort. It is such a hard thing to determine while shopping. I know the watch hasn't been out very long, but any thoughts on comfort and ease of use would be appreciated.
In terms of the Lange 1 MP PT, it is a watch that I have admired for so many years, but never pursued. It is my favorite "Lange 1" version outside of the Lumen versions, finding the sheen of the dial & case so striking. i also think the moon phase feature really pops against the dial, not competing against the date and time. The 38.5mm size is also great, while I find the same size Saxonia Annual Calendar small on my wrist. The watch is also quite heavy, more so than I am use to, so I have to wonder about comfort and being balanced on the wrist. Any thoughts on comfort? Does it twist on your wrist being top heavy? Also, any thoughts about buying the older version versus the current model?
My preference would be to wear either of these watches on a deployant buckle (WG). My only experience is with the single fold. Any thoughts on it versus the lighter double fold? I have already eliminated the Saxonia Annual Calendar (seemed small of the wrist), Saxonia Moon and other 1815 variants. Thank you for looking.

I feel the price gap between both is quite big and the functions are also not quite on par. The Daymatic however is just in the middle. If it should be a business watch then the Daymatic will suit the purpose very well. Best Moritz

Maybe you can find the differences doing a search on these forums but I think the new movement has a little longer power reserve which really doesn't make that much of a difference to me neither would the new day/night indicator as much as finding the bes...
