Which one? 🤔
have been batting these two around for a while. Tried the double balancier out a few times and loved it. Hoping to pull the trigger on one of them this year. i like the frosting more on the gmt, and love the way Greubel does their gmt complication. The globe is also quintessentially Greubel to me. With the double balancier, I love how animated it is. It looks jam packed and like a wild machine in the wrist. Any thinky thots?

Definitely the double balancier if I could afford it

Not really
There is a newer smaller version of the GMT and both wear pretty much the same most likely due to the lack of lugs. I noticed this when trying on the single/normal balanicer, the balancier 3, and the double balancier.

Very comfortable.
I have found the Double Balancier to be very comfortable when worn all day long, owing to its fairly light weight. It has a big dial, but it doesn’t feel big on the wrist. (That said, I haven’t worn it 24/7. But I don’t wear any watch when sleeping!) ...
Very hard to say.
It’s hard for me to suggest that one watch is similarly comfortable to another. Perhaps I would say an MB&F EVO in titanium. They are also large, but so light and well fitted to even fairly small wrists.
My vote is the Double Balancier.

I would use it for sure. I have quite a few GMT watches and do end up using the additional timezones a fair bit because my team is spread out across a few countries. Do you have any of the convexe models?

…I think Ed probably hit the nail on the head with his questioning the GMT. It probably looks the cooler watch to the civilian eye, but yours is not that and so I’m going to say the double too. Dream watches. Really.

Based on movement complication and architecture alone the DB is the winner for me. I think the DB makes sense as a sports watch movement for GF, it's a more durable option than the inclined / double tourbillons and the design of the constant force remonto...
