My two Tribute to Polaris ( PRT / 65 for the 1965 Edition, Nr 7 for the 1968 Edition ), the Vacheron Constantin Les Historiques Chronograph platinum salmon dial ( not a LE but a limited production ), Panerai Pre Vendome Logo Nr 15, Mare Nostrum 301/ A Nr 545, Panerai PAM 249 Cali Nr 249, IWC Portuguese 8 Days Ref 5000 Nr 562 / 1000 in steel, an IWC Aquatimer Cousteau Edition Nr 1870 / 1953, and some other quite rare watches, such as a superb vintage JLC DSA US, a Duometre à Chronographe in platinum white dial and so on...
As you can imagine it is painful to live that kind of experience, I tried to move on, I kept an eye on these watches in the different collectors markets and auctions, dealers and so on, HENCE my mixed feelings, here. Let me explain it to you:
After a while you try to mourn over... And when you discover that an auction house has a watch which was stolen to you, you suddenly re live this bad moment, but you hope you will get at least this watch back in your collection. Then you are highly disappointed by the auction house way to handle this issue. And the mourn comes back, again...
Very cruel game...
Best, my friend.
