Yes, I agree. But I was referring to the original version with the smaller subdials like yours and pulsation scale.
(At least I think your picture shows the original 1815 Chrono). The RG/Black dial was produced in the mid-2000's alongside the white gold version and the metal dial combo is by far my favourite for both the 1815 and Dato, however practically speaking RG makes little sense for me personally.

I was only trying it on, but compared to the Datograph it is much thinner, at least that was my feeling.

but on the white dial, I think I don't miss the date. It would be different if that Chrono had a black dial with silver subdials, then it would really look like an amputated Datograph.
