The Sax-0-Mat was such a nice movement! Time-consuming and costly for Lange to repair, though a feast for the eyes.

I love the perpetual - but think that the dial on the Annual Calendar is possibly the most perfectly balanced dial on any watch I’ve seen. By losing the extraneous information on the perpetual I think it gains massively in its beauty. ...  

i've always thought it was one of the best looking calendars ever made (by any brand) and the perfect size for me. it almost makes my picture taking seem decent...almost... ...  

The Annual Calendar has been discontinued - the traditional annual calendar spot is now solely the 1815 but without the large date - one of the hallmarks of Lange I think.

the blue dials are LE 50 pieces each; honey gold is LE 100 pieces which leaves the rose gold 310.032 which the CR spreadsheet says was last made in 2017.

huh...thanks. i thought i had seen multiple reports of boutiques not taking orders (for awhile) and that the HG / blue dial variants were portrayed as the last hurrah for the line. but if its on the website i'd think its available.

... and mentioned seeing this model, which was discontinued about 5 years ago, on the current website. They said, "The 310.032 is long gone." I'm curious what the points of sale would tell someone who tried to order it now.

just wanted to follow up: why is it costly for Lange to repair? is it more costly than the current full rotor automatics?

This movement combines all of the elements that make a Lange movement so special - with a few twists due to the inclusion of the rotor. It’s been 10 years since I’ve had mine serviced so the patina on the movement really shines through. ...  

And for a short period of time even used for entry level models like 1815 and this Saxonia 315.026 from 2009 ...  

Delighted to see a German-made case on these. Such a cool hallmark, and more rare than CO or FT; don't know if rarer than db (Donzé-Baume).
