The first generation for me. I know that the second generation has a bigger power reserve and that this detail is important, but for me, the first generation remains the icon and the one to get.

The power reserve indicator on the second generation kills the perfect symmetry of the dial, its " nombre d'or ".

If you like Roman numerals the 39 creates the inverted triangle with the 10/2/6 while the other geometric triangle is the date window with the two sub dials. The 41mm can be argued to have a better aspect ratio or wearability since it’s wider but not thic...
