G'day, the new 1815 seems to be universally appreciated - hence a press kit group shot and an interesting detail may be too: It´s MUCH more beautiful in the metal, therefore all signs indicate Lange to have another champion here! Not the least due to it´s...  

the lange sight states the watch is 40mm in diameter. i wonder how if looks in the metal at that size. its quite the jump from the 35.5 of the previous 1815. your thoughts would be much appreciated . cheers and thanks for the post kevin

The size of the new 1815 is: 40 x 8,9 mm Yes, it is a big step, but don´t forget about the new/bigger movement. To me it looks quite good (from the pictures). RL is 40,5 x 10,6 mm, Lange 1 is 38,5 mm and a bit higher, .... Most Lange´s are well balanced. ...
