 By: foversta : July 6th, 2017-15:20
I was very fortunate to be invited by the Lange UK Team to attend the Summer Solstice Dinner in London... to be more precise at the Royal Observatory of Greenwich. Actually, I had a lot of good reasons to accept such invitation. The pleasure to spend one ...

Looks like a great time!

And an excellent job documenting it. Best, Martin

What a thread FX! Thank you very much. I can go to sleep now and dream about all these wonderful Lange timepieces (and especially the Zeitwerk Decimal Striking)

Any shot of the new Lange 1 Moon Phase Day/Night in white gold and black dial by chance? Best wishes Alkiro

The watch was not present at the event so I didn't have the opportunity to shoot it again.

The last pictures I published about it were posted in my report of the boutique presentation. Thanks Alkiro! Fx

What a shame! This Lange is so so beautiful.

Thank you for posting them. Aside from the watches, which need no further discussion, I especially liked the photo of London city line in the distance. So close, yet so far...

Wow!!

Excellent write-up as usual, and it's wonderful to see you in good health. The new 1815 chrono was not on show?

Sadly no... [nt]

It has obviously been a superb event. What a place! And what an assembly of guests was there.

Happy to see that your young and talented watchmaker wore a Datograph first generation ( at least what I am seeing from my cell phone screen ). Always moved when I see a Langematik Anniversary, too. One I would love to see is the 31 Days Black Dial. I was...

Thank you Xavier!!

for documenting the event so well. I am sorry that I did not have an opportunity to speak to you longer but I am glad we met. And thank you too for catching the photo of me in deep conversation with Seb Coggiola, Ryan and the nice chap who just bought the...

I knew that guy (Ryan) looked familiar!

Should have figured out who he was since someone was carrying his book.

Hi Mike!

He was the first person I met as he was carrying this book which he had written. Quite interestingly he lives in an area in the UK where I used to live for a long time. Lovely chap!

He is.

I met him in NY just before he moved home. He was supposed to get together with a few of us from the NY area.

Awesome event!

Looks good! A visit to Greenwich is a pilgrimage every watch lover should consider doing. It's not far from London and it's a meaningful place for those who appreciate the measurement of time. Thank you for sharing with us your experience!
