1815 Chronograph 1st Gen - zero reset?
Greetings from Chicago! I just picked up a first generation 1815 Chronograph (movement L951.0). Can a Lange forum maven confirm that the L951.0 does not have a zero reset function on the non-Chrono seconds hand? When I pull out the crown, the seconds hand...
1815 Chronograph does not have zero seconds reset for the time seconds. But does have flyback seconds for chronograph.
As for your last sentence. Which second hand are you referring to? The Chronograph second hand? The reset to zero is done by a mechanical heart-shaped cam which is activated by the reset button and thus there shouldn't be any difference in operation regar...

Yes, even the Sax-O-Mat feature on the reset of the seconds hand in time-only watches, those aren't dependent on power reserve status.

on the current Lange 1, the second hand just rests at zero while the watch keeps running, keeping hour time, until the power reserve runs out?
