Shinola and Lange
I am the original poster of the Shinola bracelet. I love these photos of the ss with the Langes.
I stumbled upon the idea when in a Shinola store in nyc. I immediately thought of my plat Datograph.
I posted pictures back then, but unfortunately when pointed out that the ss would cause wear on the inside lugs, I did notice this and I was uncomfortable continuing with the bracelet.
It was a subjective decision, and I really don't know if the continue rubbing would cause the inside lugs to be harder to laser at some point in the future.
And I do miss wearing the dato during hot summer months, so I would like a reason to perhaps put the ss back on.

This looks great. I've been searching for an 18mm WG or platinum Wellendorff for a few years with no luck. I visited Shinola's website and the 18mm bracelet is on sale from $200 to $80 so I grabbed one. Thanks for the inspo.

what I am doing… worrying about a mark on the lug that you can’t even see. I believe some Lange’s have reinforced lug holes? With titanium?
Yessir! But is that relevant to your concern?
Below you can see the little sleeve/insert. That'll prevent the lug hole from enlarging. But if I understood correctly, your concern wasn't about the lug holes enlarging. It was more about abrasions to the inside of the lugs caused by the side of the endl...
