Below you can see the little sleeve/insert. That'll prevent the lug hole from enlarging. But if I understood correctly, your concern wasn't about the lug holes enlarging. It was more about abrasions to the inside of the lugs caused by the side of the endlink on the bracelet, when that endlink moves around. I might've misremembered that though.
