Great questions because I was also setting my moonphase last night and had similar doubts about the right thing to do.

I might not have the correct answer but here is my take:

1. I always adjust my watches with the crown pulled - ie. Position 1, since I feel this is the adjustment mode
2. The manual suggests not to adjust from like 9pm  to 3am or 10pm to 2am etc so I also avoid adjustment the moonphase during this window
3. I don't know the answer but I think it is 1 day because the manual has a new moon or full moon calendar by day.

I really not worried about the precision accuracy of my watch moon vs real moon, because my watch will stop again after I rotate other watches. I just push # of time base of full month by the days after the full moon.

Share pictures of your lovely watch.

See my account name so take it with a grain of salt smile

Thank you for the welcome and the information. We are all clueless on some level My gut tells me that there should be no danger zone in advancing the moon phase as there is with the date. With the date, the change is around midnight and the mechanism to c...

In Patek I’ve seen a You Tube video for setting an annual calendar. It states that date window is under motion between 8 pm to 2 am and one should not change date during this period. Moon phase mode is under change from 9 am to 12 noon, therefore ideally ...

Thanks for all the answers guys!

So I reached out to Lange and got some answers directly from them about my watch. Will post here for future reference. Again this is about my specific watch so not universally applicable. The numbered responses correspond to my numbered questions in the o...
