Practical...but derivative
Sorry..after the world, esp Patek 5134 and more recent 5164 aquanaut....the Saxonia DT is playing catchup, IMHO.
The other reason for buying a Lange...superlative and fine movement finishing...is not visually evident in the usual Lange "proportions", again IMHO.
Like you pointed out, it opens up a group of potentially new customers for Lange, and also extent the range of available Lange, and reinvent the Saxonia line.
