My 2nd Lange

I couldn't resist this 1815 any longer. Nobody can top Jocke's photos, but I will attempt to post some better pictures and comparison pictures to my Richard Lange in the coming weeks, as well as my impressions of the watch. The 1815 has gained 10 seconds in 6 days of ownership thus far so I am pretty impressed by the accuracy. The feel on the wirst is comfortable, light and understated. I couldn't find anything from Vacheron or Patek with as good finishing and volumes in this class. IMHO the only imperfection to this watch is the cutoff at 6, but I can live with this and I am a difficult person to please . The movement is spectacular for its class and find the 55 hours power reserve ample. All in all I am very pleased and fear I am becoming addicted to manual wound, elegant watches. Cheers,

I read your long answer before you edited it and appreciated it a lot. I think the only alternative with the 1815 would have been to leave the position of the subsidiary seconds as is, and simply remove the 6. The again, perhaps this would ruin the symmet...
