I enjoy both the large and subsidiary seconds hands. I do enjoy how the large seconds hand makes the RL feel more alive. The RL is magnificent to wind... with one half turn the watch begins running immediately. However, there is an understated elegance to...

I read your long answer before you edited it and appreciated it a lot. I think the only alternative with the 1815 would have been to leave the position of the subsidiary seconds as is, and simply remove the 6. The again, perhaps this would ruin the symmet...
