Love the speculating

Jan 16, 2014,11:56 AM

This is my favourite time of year for watches.. the absolute unknown, feels like waiting for Christmas morning even if I am deep into save-mode and not yet ready to make a move should something blow me away.

The  thickness (as Mark noted) is very appealing, an indication of complication perhaps? Assuming the pusher is at 2 o'clock, one would assume this is a Chronograph, however given the release of the 1815 RP PC last year I do not think another Chrono is in the cards.

Possible to have a new complication with a pusher located at 2 o'clock.. maybe a dead second, or zero-reset like the RL Refrenzher? The line of 'Precision beyond accuracy' makes me think along those lines.

Any other guesses?

Best,

Colton

Answer soon... Fx...

Is this the RG Dato?

Honestly no.

They would never use a new version of an existing model for such pic. It will be a true novelty. Fx

So glad to hear!

Now im excited Foversta and was hoping not for it to be a RG Dato as people have hinted at with this new teaser... I cannot wait! Thanks

The crown seems nicely beveled

and it is not the Dato U/D's one. I like as it seems thick. I hope it won't be to huge (and thus heavy). Wait&See! Mark

How thick do we think?

... like 20mm GC think? ;) What's ya guess based on the pics and overall balance with crown, pusher and lugs? I would say at least 15mm.

Love the case thickness...

which obviously hints at a substantial complication. ;)

That crown looks suspiciously from the Zeitwerk family

"Precision," case thickness, it may all add up. Also time for more complications in the Zeitwerk line. I am hoping that pusher controls a moon phase display...... One can dream. Also hoping to see more offerings in that most special of metals, honey gold....

Zeitwerk gets me excited BUT

do you think they would release another moon phase piece in the same year? Different family I know. ;)

I reckon the crown looks similar to the

The crown usually stands at around 2 o'clock on the Zeitwerk

I don't think they would have changed the movement that much, would they ? Mark
