...so why hide them? I’d agree with your idea to straighten out the last three rows of links on this bracelet so it goes in between the lugs, allowing them to shine.
Lange already has good form in this - look at the bracelets made for the 1 and Datograph some time ago, not the weird ones with the wavy links but the modified beads-of-rice design.
Of course, everything could change when you put it on. All we’ve seen are photos - in the metal, who knows, that bracelet might be perfect.
Must say I’m not completely convinced by this watch overall anyway, although I am m a lover of the genre. Yes, there are lots of nice details - I’m sure the dial with its multiple levels and finishes is fabulous; the pushers either side of the crown have clearly been lavished with thought and attention; the movement has been given care too with the balance bridge, different finishing etc...but somehow it doesn’t feel conceptually all of a piece. Rather, I get the sense that someone said “let’s do a steel sporty watch” and after a number of committee meetings over a long period of time we ended up with this. Hard to explain or put my finger on but it just doesn’t seem to have the clarity of thought that most (not all) other Langes have.
(In this genre, to me at least, the 15202, current VC Overseas and Finissimo Octo feel most coherent inside and out.)
