According to ALS, all the compnents that are not visible to the owner (under the 3/4 plate for many of their movements) are also finished to the same standard as those that are visible, so I don't think lack of owner appreciation would be the reason for it not having anglage. Who knows though...lol

I don't know if the post should be in the ALS topic or the Photography topic, but I'd like to know what you guys think of the photos.... because the watch is magnificent, there is no doubt 😉 ...

The clarity, lighting, etc. One question, on the movement side. It looks like the 3/4 plate has anglage on the upper part, but down on the part where the mainspring barrel is, it is not present? It this because it is adjacent to the remontoire?

Yes, there is no anglage in this region, I don’t know what is the reason for that 🤔

One could argue that the spacing is too tight in that area for the owner to appreciate it.
However that’s a pretty lame excuse if it’s the case, so perhaps another reason on a watch like this.

Nice pictures can be taken with anything, even old cameras or phones if you have the imagination to use them.
The camera is just a tool to achieve the goal. Of course, the better the camera, lens and equipment is, the easier it is to achieve the desired effect, but it is not necessary 😊
