What is the general opinion regarding the two Lange deployment clasp (regular and light version): - is one better than the other in terms of securing the strap and longevity? the light version looks very thin in the photo - I can see that the regular vers...  

but I prefer a single-blade deployant, like the one at top, as long as it folds up (like most steel bracelets), not down. Also, the heavier weight makes the head buckle and head balance better and helps prevent turning on the wrist. -Dean

I prefer the "regular" version-easier to close. The lighter version has a screw in the bar opposite the clasp, in the middle where the leather is cut out for a pin. Don't know how it all works.

Does the "regular" version feel better on the wrist as well, once centred on the wrist?

Both are very comfortable once on the wrist.

The lighter-style, double-folding deployant is quite new, so far fewer people have experience with them. Re longevity: I think both deployants will last longer than you or I will, and straps will last just as long with either of them (and far longer with ...
