A. Lange deployment buckle, which is best?
What is the general opinion regarding the two Lange deployment clasp (regular and light version):
- is one better than the other in terms of securing the strap and longevity? the light version looks very thin in the photo
- I can see that the regular version has a spring bar for the strap attachment, do you know how the light version is attached to the strap please? is it also a spring bar or is it a push pin?
- finally, does anyone know the length of the clasp (when closed) for both versions please? my wrist is quite narrow so I would like to know roughly what length of strap I will need to get as it is likely that the strap will have to be custom made.

Personla taste...
but I prefer a single-blade deployant, like the one at top, as long as it folds up (like most steel bracelets), not down. Also, the heavier weight makes the head buckle and head balance better and helps prevent turning on the wrist. -Dean
I have both.
I prefer the "regular" version-easier to close. The lighter version has a screw in the bar opposite the clasp, in the middle where the leather is cut out for a pin. Don't know how it all works.

Does the "regular" version feel better on the wrist as well, once centred on the wrist?
I don't notice any difference in terms of feel.
Both are very comfortable once on the wrist.
