I refer to it as Lange for short

Every minute of the day people are telling others what they can and cannot say, under threat of banishment in some cases. Call it whatever makes you comfortable and let others do the same. Back to watches...

For instance, for Italians "ALS" has no connection whatsoever to the medical disease, whose acronym is SLA... Are you willing to check every acronym in every language before making your next contribution to our forum? Also, since I have nothing against pe...

He died from ALS. He was untypical. Most ALS patients die faster. I don't think that we have to check shorts in any language. But when it is in English or German, than it is not optimal. I think Lange for LS is a good solution.

I assume a few readers have negative associations to "ALS," and it costs me nothing more to type "Lange" instead, so that has been my choice. "Lange" is also unambiguous.
