Ever since I accidently dropped a WG Chono onto a tile floor when it slipped out of my hand while unbuckling it, I've used deployants on all of my watches. I currently have one on my platinum 1815 moonphase. It's better to be safe than sorry, especially if one is prone to occasional bouts of clutziness
