Hypothetical Lumen
As much as I love the Datograph Lumen, I’ve always thought it would be better if the tens digit disk were transparent the way the ones digit is. This obviously isn’t possible for the Datograph or the two Grande Lange 1’s that have been lumened, but it should be possible for the Daymatic, Lange 1 Perpetual, or Lange 1 Perpetual Tourbillon. For the first, you wouldn’t even need a sapphire dial, and for the latter two you would only need a sapphire dial if you wanted UV light to hit the hidden part of the moonphase indicator. Not that the sapphire dial wouldn’t be desirable...
