I often wonder how it will all end....

I am kicking myself hard for passing over the Zeitwerk HWK eight years ago when it was offered to me after I visited the manufacture ...

...part of me wants to see a seconds hand to give it some 'action.' If I were looking for a watch for my son (I am), this would be in the running. You have an amazing collection, but I am drawn to the the Cabaret : )

I got the Cabaret through the Internet, at a reasonable price, after the model was discontinued. It is now wearing a strap made of vintage elephant skin....

...but this Cabaret is a good candidate if you could have just one watch. ...  

Funny that with all those amazing complicated watches, it would be the Cabarat that we both want a closer look at

I thought these watches would only be delivered in December to mark the 175th anniversary on 7th December. I am pleased to say that I too have ordered one from the Singapore boutique and finally, I am able to own a Sam Wan watch!

Good for you for ordering one. I heard through the grapevine that Lange has stopped taking orders and will be imposing new conditions for selling the watch. Have you heard the same thing?

I spoke to the KL boutique (owned by Sincere Watches) and they had an allocation of only one watch! Then I called up the London boutique (owned by Wempe) and their allocation was also poor. I wanted to find a Lange boutique owned by Richemont as I knew th... 

Is Keith still with the Singapore boutique? I like the Tourbograph but I will have to sell my company first 🙂

Anyway, you have one of the most amazing collections among us purists so if the Lange 1815 honey gold is good enough for you, it is most reassuring for me!

Absolutely love it. The honey gold is such a subtle warm color. And the enamel dial is amazing. Perfect dress watch. ...

I must admit on this 175th anniversary the dial beats out the backside. The enamel and simple dial is close to perfect, and the movement albeit beautiful ... well Lange sets a high bar. Very nice though. Again stunning collection and thank you for sharing... 

And do not have a lot of opportunities to dress up. Will find every excuse though...

It's a pity that Lange doesn't offer the Cabaret. You surely miss a Zeitwerk and the Odysseus. Aris

I am without a Lange these days but I have to say this one caught my eye, specifically it was the honey gold. I’ve been on the fence about another honey gold piece for more than a year, then this one comes along too. For now I’ve taken no action, perhaps ... 

Or even an Odysseus, you have to clear some hurdles

Given that Lange has 20+ boutiques around the world, I believe the trend is to roll out more special editions to capture more handsome gross margins. In other words, there will be less reliance on authorized dealers....

Have to compliment you on the incredible Lange collection. Love the RL Pour le Merite models and of course the Datograph. Don't see a Zeitwerk anywhere so maybe that is something to add in the future 🤔 😉. Regardless, we'll done sir and again compliments f... 

Is indeed one of a kind. The Datograph is a Lumen and as for the Zeitwerk, I somehow foolishly passed over the HWK edition several years ago....

Did not know the Datograph was a lumen, even more special 👍 As for the HKG Zetiwerk, maybe you can still get one if one ever becomes available from a collector or you could just get a standard Zeitwerk as I love mine. Maybe even go for a Zeitwerk Striking...

A few years back, through a telephone bid, I successfully placed the winning bid for the watch at a good price (around USD 50,000 including commission) in an auction. Later, when we compared notes, I discovered I was bidding against a good friend of mine....

I have that movie in DVD....I collect DVDs, Blu-ray's as well as watches...

Here in California, we were stuck at home for a while, couldn't go out even for a walk nor even do some gardening due to the fires creating toxic air!
