Lange's luminous features tend to dim quickly. I am curious how long the luminous charge lasts on the ZW Phantom during typical use, when the wearer does not deliberately charge it up by putting it near a bright light. Is the time readable a few hours after it gets dark? If you were seeing a 2-hour movie, could you read the time throughout? I did try that experiment on the Grand L1 MP version but don't remember the result. I will have to try that again.

Zeitwerk
My favorite is the Zeitwerk because the lumen concept was conceived for the Zeitwerk to charge the lume and be able to read the time in the dark. But agree with you on that spectacular moon phase!
Well, For me also mainly the Moon-Phase.. Next the Zeitwerk.. The issue with the power reserve, mostly agree, (although it does not completely ruin it for me)..

Another vote for the Lange 1 Moonphase....
.... which significantly eclipsed (no pun intended) the Lange 1 Lumen. I like the Lumen series and is a fan of the Datograph, but somehow the Datograph Lumen doesn't cut it for me.

but there is only one that actually needs the semi transparent Lumen dial to function and that is the Zeitwerk - without the semi transparent dial reading the time at night would be impossible. The other pieces are beautiful but none actually need the Lum...
