Just returned from the AD, where I have put my name in for the new L1 moon phase (WG, black dial). John Lennon said that "life is what happens to you as you're making other plans." That may apply here. I saw a RG 1815 up down in the case and quite like it... 

You can always pick up the Up/Down on the secondary market later. Having said that (up/down) is probably my next acquisition

but the 2 watches are quite different league imo, so very lucky your definition of profligacy is elastic and very well stretchable Rgds Raymond

But the L1 moonphase is stunning. The new L1 MP in WG and on either the standard black strap or a dark brown croc strap (controversial?) is all the watch a gentleman could ever ask for. Doesn\'t matter whether it\'s the first version of the L1 MP which to... 

Or get rg 1815 chrono instead

I was caught off-guard. Isn't it supposed to be "When in doubt, buy both"?

BUT let\'s not forget that a lot of people are not millionaires. And sometimes it\'s difficult remembering that when looking around on PuristSPro... Too many people with too many watches.

ALS surely hit a winner with this one. The combination of black dial against the WG casing is magnificent, and is surely more than a match than the 1815 U/D
