Saxonia:
There is something that Patek can propose and Lange can't: it is the choice between different Annual Calendars. When i look at these pics, I see a very swiss watch and a very german one. The dial lay-outs are totally different. The key display with the Lange is the big date. With Patek, the displays seem to be more discreet, below the two main hands. Maybe between these 2 watches, I would choose the Saxonia. But I prefer the 5205 in any case.

Patek 5396G or Lange Saxonia annual calendar
Am looking to buy an annual calendar - will be my first patek or lange. having tried them on a few times, I cant seem to decide - the lange is a nicer watch to look at and has class but then Patek seems to have that elegance... ignoring the price differen...

Instantaneous??
Are any of those calendars instantaneous? I prefer the Lange as it is technically better and has a really lovely mirror-polished concave moon which is accurate for more than 100 years .... Damo
5396G is my favorite by a tiny margin...
